Watch for Child ID at Public Events
Nothing causes greater fear in the mind of a parent than a missing child. With state of the art identification technology, Kiwanis has the ability of providing parents with electronic fingerprint images, two facial images and details about specific identifying features. This information is retained by the parents. Hopefully this is information that parents will never need, however if a child is missing, the parents or the guardians can immediately provide the Child ID information sheet to authorities, instead of answering a long list of questions about the child’s physical appearance. This empowers the authorities to take action in the shortest time possible. Throughout the year Kiwanis members attend community and school events providing our Child ID service to parents and guardians.
